“Smart Start” Study Skills Workshops
Usually held during lunch hours, these FREE one-hour workshops cover a variety of valuable skills, such as note-taking, essay-writing and research. Check Study Skills Workshops for specific topics, dates, locations.
“Introduction to University”
This three (3) credit hour course covers practical strategies for reading texts, taking notes, getting the most out of lectures, studying for exams and writing term papers. This course is great for new students who want to prepare for university studies and current students who wish to develop and improve their study skills. Tutoring
If you are having difficulty with course material, consider using The Tutoring Centre. The centre offers professional and peer tutors for first year Math and Science and peer tutors for Writing.
