Opening a Bank Account in Winnipeg

Students filling out formsYou will probably want to open a new account in Winnipeg.  There are many banks and credit unions to choose from in the downtown area. 

One very convenient choice is the branch of the Royal Bank of Canada at 370 Portage Avenue (at Hargrave). Contact or visit the RBC (204.988.4068) to make an appointment to open a student account. 

When you apply to open an account, please remember to bring Student ID, Visa/Passport documents, and your Acceptance Letter from the University.
