WESMEN VOLLEYBALL STAR REPRESENTS CANADA AT WORLD BEACH VOLLEYBALL CHAMPIONSHIPS IN POLAND
Friday, September 1, 2006 - Winnipeg Wesmen Men's volleyball star and CIS Rookie of the Year Ryan DeBruyn recently represented Canada at the FIVB U21 World Beach Volleyball Championships in Poland.
DeBruyn, an Ottawa native and his partner Stuart Hamilton won their first two matches in the qualification tournament before dropping a tough three set match to the home team from Poland.
DeBruyn will now focus his attention to the Wesmen as he looks to improve on his already impressive Wesmen volleyball career.
