WESMEN 77 McMaster 78
The Wesmen dropped a last second 78-77 decision to McMaster University Friday night in Hamilton. McMaster connected on a free throw in the last few seconds to clinch the victory. Second year guard Nick Lother scored 21 points, including 10 of 11 free throws to lead the Wesmen in scoring. Dan Shynkaryk was next with 18 points and seven rebounds.The Wesmen will take on the University of Guelph this evening.

WESMEN 60 Guelph 84The Winnipeg wesmen were soundly defeated 84-60 by the Guelph Gryphons Saturday night. " We played very poorly", said Head Coach Dave Crook. Forward Mike James scored 16 points to lead the Wesmen. Dan Shynkaryk added 12 in a losing cause. The Wesmen will wrap up their pre-season schedule against RMC Thursday night at the Duckworth Centre,
Women's Basketball vs RMC (In Brandon) "Pre Season"
WESMEN 91 RMC 51The Wesmen ran away with a convincing 91-51 victory over RMC (Royal Milittary College) on Saturday night in Brandon. Third year guard Randie Gibson led the Wesmen with a game high 22 points and five assists. Gibson connected on six-of-eight three point shot attempts. Winnipeg raced out to a 49-24 lead at halftime.
