UNIVERSITY OF WINNIPEG ANNOUNCES ACADEMIC ALL-CANADIANS
WINNIPEG, JULY 31, 2007 - The University of Winnipeg is pleased to announce their Academic All-Canadians for the 2006-2007 academic year. In total there were 21 athletes who gained recognition. In order to gain this status a student must have a GPA of 3.0 (80%) or better. The university is proud of the fact that 40% of their student athletes earned Academic All-Canadian status, which doubles the national average of 20%. The 2006-2007 Academic All-Canadians are as follows:
