Biography:

Javier Mignone holds a post-doctoral fellowship with the Canadian Institutes for Health Research and is in the training program of the International Centre for Infectious Disease at the University of Manitoba. He is also a Research Associate with the Centre for Aboriginal Health Research at the same university, and a lecturer at its Department of Community Health Sciences. Mignone holds a master’s equivalent degree in Psychology, a master’s in Health Services administration, and a PhD in Community Health Sciences.

His research interests have centred on the area of social determinants of health.
