Biography:


Dr. Tim Hilderman received his MD degree from the University of Manitoba and practiced rural family medicine for a number of years before returning to the U of M's Community Medicine residency training program.  After completing this Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada fellowship, Tim began his public health practice as the Medical Officer of Health for the Interlake Region.  Dr. Hilderman continues in this role presently, and has recently been appointed to the Faculty of Medicine in the Department of Community Medicine in the Assistant Professor capacity.  Tim's special interests include environmental mould related disease and mechanisms of communicable disease transmission.
