Biography:

Chris Green grew up in Portage la Prairie Manitoba.  He left Portage la Prairie the day he graduated and moved to Winnipeg where he attended the Photographic Technicians course at Red River Community College.  He went on to obtain a BA in Sociology from The University of Winnipeg and a MHSc. in Community Health Sciences from the University of Toronto.

Green worked for seven years in Northwestern Ontario in a number of health planning positions before moving back to Winnipeg where he worked for the First Nation and Inuit Health Branch as the Manager of Planning, Research and Evaluation and for Manitoba Health as an epidemiologist.
 
Green recently graduated from an Interdisciplinary PhD program at the University of Manitoba.  His research interests are focused on exploring how place affects the health of populations.
