Elective course for the Aboriginal Management Certificate

The intent of this course is to develop strategies for the recruitment, retention, and career advancement of Aboriginal people. Participants will gain the essential skills and knowledge required to improve employment opportunities for Aboriginal people. Participants will gain an understanding of the issues faced by Aboriginal people today and the challenges they will face in the future by examining the root causes of under representation and low rate of participation of Aboriginal people in the workforce. Participants will survey the employment patterns of Aboriginal people from historical and contemporary perspectives.
