Mixing business with humanitarianism

A recent graduate of The University of Winnipeg, Adam Bergman (16) is putting his Bachelor of Business Administration degree — and double major in marketing and human resources — to good use. He is currently employed at a small Winnipeg construction company, where he is able to have a hand in every aspect of the business.

While at UWinnipeg, Bergman was an active volunteer, dedicated humanitarian, and high academic achiever.

Not only was Bergman a member of the University’s chapter of the Golden Key International Society, but he also spent time abroad serving communities in need in Africa and the Philippines. He eventually hopes to pursue a master’s degree with a career goal that blends business and humanitarian work in the non-profit sector.

His numerous academic awards include the Chancellor R.O.A. Hunter Scholarship in Business and Administration, the Dean's Honour List – Student of Highest Distinction, and the Academic Proficiency Scholarship.

For his many achievements, Bergman served as valedictorian for UWinnipeg’s 2016 Spring Convocation.
